The High/Medium/Low System
This system is a bit more complicated than the black/red system, but once you
know how it works it seems simple, and it provides between 1 and 3 units profit
for every win. The losses are limited as you can only bet up to 11 times in a
row and loose, after that there is no further progression, you must accept
defeat and start again! It requires patience to earn money on because you don't bet on every spin.
A table that allows free spins is required (in other words it must let you spin
the wheel without betting). 888 have stopped free spins which automatically rules
out using this system by itself.
Again feel free to try this on the play table of a casino, or even on a real
money table (just don't bet - work out how much you would've made or lost and
just keep spinning the wheel).

The System Itself
Firstly, it is recommended you have a chart to keep track of the results of the spins, something like this:
It can go on for as long as you're playing, each number represents the current spin
you are on...so you start at 1 and so on.
Im sure you're wondering what goes in these tables? Well first you need to know
what High, Medium and Low are on the table - see the image below to see what they
are and where you bet for them:
I hope this is clear, it just shows which regions are considered as High, Medium and Low, and how to bet on each. 0 is also considered a region, but you never bet on it. (Simply due to the odds!)
Right, now you know which groups the numbers fall in and where to bet for each group. You start by spinning the wheel
without betting. For each
spin write down, on your table, which category the resulting number falls in, it
should start looking something like this:

The table is used to keep a history of the previous spins, as you can see here, in the last
5 spins there is no M, if you get 5 in a row where a group doesn't occur you bet on that group. You keep betting on that group followng the betting scheme below until you win, or reach the 11th iteration. If you have not won by the 11th iteration you give up and start over with the free spins again.

As I stated before, if you still haven't won by iteration 11 it is suggested you give up and start again, however by this point you will have lost 200!
Thats the system in a nutshell, you just keep repeating it until you're
rich...or broke! The latter is more likely.
Automated Testing
As I needed to find a casino with free spins I used Golden Palace. I wrote another application to take the results of the spins, and predict the theoretical profits based on the results.
For this part I will define a few terms I used:
The Period the number of 'non-appearances' of a group before bidding (this was 5 in the system described above).
The Limit is how many bids you go up to before you give up and start again
(which is 11 in the system above).
A failed streak is when you get to the limit and still haven't won.
The safe range is the maximum streak of 'non-appearances' there can be before a
loss is incurred.
I started using a period of 7 and a limit of 11,
and because 7 + 11 = 18 it copes for a steak of up to 18 'non-appearances' in
a row (the safe range is 18), which is a reasonable length to cope with, if it
hasn't won on the 18th attempt it loses 200.
I ran this for about 8 hours (overnight) and it lost just over 1000.
It got more than 10 failed streaks meaning it recovered a lot, but didn't break
even or get an overall profit. The longest streak that came up was 19!
After this spectacular failure I reduced the limit to 7, capping the loss at 38
(reducing the safe range to 14). This recovered quicker, but it still made an
overall loss once again after running for about 6 hours. It could easily make 50
in about 15 minutes, but then would shortly lose twice or more afterwards.
I tried a few other combinations like limits of 5, which did end up in profit
over night, but a few hours later was again in a loss.
The 'Law of Averages' page explains why I think you will always loose out in the
end.
